East Coast Born and Raised
Born in South Florida, my parents moved the family to Kansas, then Massachusetts, and finally New Jersey. If I never see another snowflake, it will be too soon!
Former Corporate Executive
In my early 30's, after ending a 15 year relationship and a decade long career as a corporate training director, I moved back to South Florida. Disgusted with the suit-and-tie life, I spent a year working at a wonderful bed and breakfast (often naked), then became a certified personal trainer.
California Adventure
In 2001, I moved to Palm Springs, California where I met my partner, Ken. We moved to San Francisco in 2004 where I earned my massage certification. Then in 2006 we moved to San Diego.
Future Registered Nurse
After two years of pre-requisite coursework, I finally started a nursing program in August 2010 and will graduate in May 2012.
